With a 10-plus year track record, The School is well embedded in the community as one of the leading providers of early childhood education. Based in leased standalone facilities, the school is equipped with spacious age-appropriate classrooms, kitchen, offices, large outdoor playgrounds with playground equipment, and indoor gyms at some locations.
The Preschools were founded in 2009 while the seller was still employed as a Cardiac Nurse. The intention was to offer a special program to families that wanted a strong academic program. The program grew fast resulting in growing within the West Metro community. The second location was opened in 2014 in Maple Grove, MN. Enrollment quickly approached near full capacity after just 3 months of opening. Realizing the brand potential, The seller acquired its third location in the fall of 2015 and then the fourth location in 2016. Later that year, they found another location to expand the growing brand but this time in Illinois. It’s fifth location was opened in the summer of 2018 in a new building in Illinois.
SchoolWise Partners facilitated the sale of the business to a private equity firm that is emerging as a new buyer / operator in the marketplace.
