Jefferson Betancourt is a Vice President at SchoolWise Partners where he manages client relationships, performs industry research, conducts financial/operational analysis, and supports business development efforts.

Prior to SchoolWise, Jefferson was an investment banking associate in Credit Suisse’s Financial Sponsors Group in New York, where he advised over 30 private equity firms and their portfolio companies on $50bn worth of leveraged finance transactions. Jefferson has over a decade of banking experience and has worked at major institutions such as Bank of America, TD Bank, and BB&T. 

Jefferson graduated from Cornell University with an MBA, University of Connecticut with an MS in Accounting, and the University of Florida with a BS in Finance. A native Floridian, Jefferson currently resides in Miami, FL.
